The deaths of three further patients who had previously tested positive for Covid-19 have been reported by the Department of Health.

It brings the total number of deaths since the pandemic began to 3.432.

This morning, there were 273 Covid-positive patients in hospital, of whom three were in intensive care. One of these patients is on a ventilator.

Hospitals in the north are over capacity by 143 beds.

Seven hospitals are currently operating beyond capacity.
