A 60th birthday celebration with singing legend Daniel O'Donnell, a heart-warming programme on Irish toy shops and a documentary on Grand National winner Rachael Blackmore are just some of highlights of RTÉ's upcoming Christmas TV schedule.
The festive line-up also includes specials from Tommy Tiernan and the much-loved Mrs Brown's Boys.
The seasonal mix of entertainment, drama and documentaries will also see Toy Show hero Adam King front his own new animated series on RTÉjr, featuring the voice of Ryan Tubridy as Santa Claus.
Tommy Tiernan will be back with a one-off special while Agnes Brown and her family return for two seasonal specials on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
The episodes will see Agnes recruited to the church choir, but under strict instructions, and a Christmas tree shortage which means Buster has to get even more creative than usual.
Loah and Una Healy return to the iconic Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin to reprise a Christmas edition of The Heart of Saturday Night.
In addition, new show Bowie - Starman will see a line up of Irish and international stars, including Suzanne Vega, Rufus Wainright III, Sharon Corr and many more, join with Bowie's own band, and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra to play some of his greatest hits.
A documentary on Co Tipperary's first female Grand National Winner Rachael Blackmore will showcase her rise to the pinnacle of horse racing .
The festive season will draw to a close with The 2 Johnnies hosting the New Year's Eve show at Dublin Castle.
