THE High Court has set dates for civil proceedings to begin in four legacy cases.
All the hearings have been listed for next year and involve proceedings against the Ministry of Defence, PSNI and Northern Ireland Office.
The cases include one linked to Mary Ellen Meehan, known as Maura, who was shot dead along with her sister Dorothy Maguire by British soldiers in the lower Falls area of west Belfast on October 23 1971.
Both women were members of Cumann na mBan, the female wing of the IRA.
The hearing is expected to be heard in March.
Proceedings linked to the death of John Copeland, who was shot dead by the British army in Ardoyne, north Belfast, on October 28 1971, have also been listed for April.
At the High Court yesterday a judge also confirmed that a hearing linked to the killing of Brian Frizzell in Craigavon in 1991 will be held next May.
Mr Frizzell was shot dead by the UVF along with two teenage girls at a mobile shop in the Drumbeg estate.
A case linked IRA member Alan Lundy, who was shot by loyalists in west Belfast in 1993, will also be heard in May.
Solicitor Kevin Winters, of KRW Law, said "the listing of all these high court actions is a timely reminder of judicial intolerance over any state delay in getting these important legacy cases ready for hearing".
