THREE teenagers have been arrested in relation to the assault of a man in his 30s in south Belfast during the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to police, the man was assaulted in the Botanic Avenue area around 4am and was taken to hospital for his injuries.

Three males, aged 17, 18 and 19 were arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

All three have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
