Derry Girls star Siobhán McSweeney takes to her electric bike to explore Co Down this week

DERRY Girls star Siobhán McSweeney will take to her electric bike tomorrow to visit some of Northern Ireland's most breathtaking coastlines and countryside for a new four-part series.

The first episode of Exploring Northern Ireland with Siobhán McSweeney will be broadcast on More4 tomorrow and will see the Cork actress taking in St Patrick's Way, through Downpatrick and Saul and visiting National Trust property, Castle Ward.

Viewers will also see her checking out some of Belfast's best-known sights, including the Harland & Wolff cranes, City Hall, Queen's University and the Lyric Theatre, and meeting up with artist Colin Davidson in his studio.

In the following three episodes, viewers will see Siobhán explore Armagh city, the Mourne Mountains, the Giant's Causeway, Seamus Heaney HomePlace, Rathlin Island, Derry’s city walls (including the iconic Derry Girls mural), as well as Fermanagh and the Sperrins.
