DR Anthony Fauci is to receive an honorary fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

It will cover topics including the emergence of Covid-19 and Dr Fauci's assessment of the current situation; lessons he has learned over the past 12 months; the importance of science in fighting new diseases; and the challenges for society and governments in dealing with the impact of the pandemic.
