MORE than a kilo of suspected cocaine has been seized following searches of two parked cars and nearby land in Greenisland, Co Antrim during a police operation linked to the South East Antrim UDA.

The cars were last night undergoing further search and forensic examination.

National Crime Agency Belfast Branch Commander David Cunningham said yesterday's seizure was an "intelligence-led operation" and a "significant milestone in a long-running".
