THE sister of disappeared victim Columba McViegh has appealed for anyone with information to come forward and help end the family's "torment".

The Independent Commission for the Location of Victims’ Remains (ICLVR) tasked with finding the so called 'Disappeared', started a search at the remote Bragan Bog in Co Monaghan in January.

It follows on from a search that started in September 2018 and was suspended in early November when weather conditions deteriorated making the hunt impossible.

The teenager who was abducted, murdered and secretly buried by the IRA in 1975.

Columba McVeigh's sister Dympna said: "It's hard to stand at such a desolate, lonely place and know that Columba is buried here.

"We need him home and buried with our Mum and Dad in Donaghmore.

"Please if anyone knows anything that can help ICLVR find Columba do it now and end this torment."
