Appeal over 'vicious' Bloomfield Walkway attack

Police in east Belfast have appealed for anyone with information on an attack at Bloomfield Walkway to come forward

POLICE in east Belfast are appealing for witnesses to a "vicious attack" on a man at Bloomfield Walkway.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was confronted by "three or four" males between 8pm and 8.30pm on Friday April 5. He was punched in the face and suffered kicks to his body before the assailants made off, taking a sum of money and a set of keys.

Police described the incident as "a vicious attack" and have appealed to anyone who was in the area and witnessed the attack or has information to contact police at Musgrave Street station.
