Boy airlifted to hospital after Co Derry collision
A YOUNG boy was airlifted to hospital on Monday after a road traffic collision in Co Derry.
The child was transferred to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children by air ambulance after receiving treatment at the scene on Edenmore Road in Limavady.
His condition was not known on Monday night.
Police said the young boy was riding a bike at about 3.50pm when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was spoken to by police at the scene,.
"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact police in Limavady," a PSNI spokesman said.
