Man due in court on drugs charges after PSNI operation in Newry

A 29-year-old man has been charged with drug offences following a police operation in Newry.

The charges are understood to relate to the arrest of a man in the Dorans Hill area of the city on Friday night.

They include possession of a class A drug, possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and possessing criminal property.

The man is due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on November 8.
