THREE men arrested about a shooting at a house in Derry earlier this year have been released unconditionally.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in the city yesterday morning. Two men aged 36 and 49 were arrested in the Creggan and Balbane Pass areas of Derry on Tuesday evening.

All three were questioned about shots fired at a house on Ballymagowan Avenue in Derry on the evening of Thursday, January 5.

They were released unconditionally last night.

Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man arrested about an explosion at Palace Barracks in Holywood, Co Down, in August 2015 was released unconditionally yesterday.

The man was arrested on Tuesday and questioned about an explosion inside a postal van near MI5 offices at the barracks.
