Police arrested a 39-year-old man in Co Derry yesterday in connection with dissident republican activity.
A spokesman said detectives from the Terrorist Investigation Unit arrested the man in the village of Feeny, between Dungiven and Claudy.
He was taken to the serious crime suite at Belfast's Musgrave police station where he remained last night.
