Three men charged in connection with Christmas Eve aggravated burglary

Two men aged 23 and one aged 45 are due to appear in court next month

Police investigating an aggravated burglary on Christmas Eve in north Belfast have charged three men.

The charges relate to an incident in the Mountcollyer Avenue area on December 24, 2023.

Two men aged 23 have been charged with offences including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, aggravated burglary and criminal damage.

Both are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on April 16.

Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on April 17

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
