Suspected drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000 have been seized by police.

The suspected Class A and B drugs, thought to be cocaine, ketamine and MDMA, were seized by members of the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit working in partnership with UK Border Force officers.

A follow-up search was carried out at a property in the Shankill area of Belfast on Wednesday, during which drug-related paraphernalia was found along with around £40,000 in cash.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, and was later released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
