Four taken to hospital following Co Fermanagh crash

Collision happened in Ballinamallard on Sunday

The A5 Curr Road has been closed following a crash on Tuesday.
Part of the Enniskillen Road in Ballinamallard, Co Fermanagh, remained closed on Sunday following an earlier crash.

Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash in Co Fermanagh.

The collision happened on the Enniskillen Road in Ballinamallard shortly after 11am on Sunday.

The road was closed as emergency services arrived at the scene.

A spokesperson for the NI Ambulance Service said four emergency crews were despatched along with the Charity Air Ambulance.

“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, three patients were taken by ambulance to South West Acute Hospital and a fourth was taken by Air Ambulance to Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.”



A PSNI spokesperson said on Sunday evening: “Please avoid the area if you can, and seek an alternative route for your journey.”
