A 39-year-old man arrested in west Belfast by police as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

Members of the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch arrested the man during the search of a property in the Stewartstown Road area on Wednesday morning.



He was taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite before later being released.

Two mobile phones were also seized during the search.
