Man injured after shots fired through window of Co Down house

A man was injured after shots were fired through the front window of a house in Rathfriland, Co Down.

The man was in the living room of the property when two shots were fired in the early hours of Tuesday, March 5.

The nature of the man’s injuries have not been disclosed but police said they were “minor”.

Three other adults were in the house at the time of the attack, but none were injured.

Detective Sergeant Wilson appealed to witnesses: “An investigation has commenced and we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Wright’s Park area at this time.”
