A 32-year-old man arrested in Derry has been released pending a report to prosecutors in relation to suspected terrorism and human trafficking offences involving a child.

The man was arrested by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit on Monday.

The arrest took place in Derry’s Ballymagroarty area.

A PSNI spokesperson said the man was released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
