A 59-year-old man has been arrested after suspected cannabis with an estimated value of £42,000 was found in a parcel.
The 3kgs of the suspected herbal cannabis was intercepted by postal services on earlier this month.
Following this, police carried out a search of a property in the Beraghvale area of Derry on Thursday.
The 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number offences including importing a controlled drug and attempted possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.
He has since been released pending further enquiries.
