Man (20) due in court after taxi driver robbed by passenger in west Belfast

A 20-year-old man is due to appear in court after a taxi driver was robbed by a passenger in west Belfast.

The man has been charged with robbery, disorderly behaviour, resisting police and two counts of assaulting police.

The charges are in connection with an incident when a taxi driver was robbed by a passenger in Glenalina Park in west Belfast on February 23.

Officers were also assaulted during the subsequent arrest.

The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on March 22.
