A third male has been arrested in relation to the death of a man in a Dublin restaurant on Christmas Eve.

Tristan Sherry died after being assaulted and a man in his 40s suffered gunshot wounds during an incident at Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown at around 8pm on December 24.

The male, who was arrested on Wednesday evening, is being detained at a Garda station in west Dublin under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Another male who was arrested this week is still being detained at a west Dublin Garda station under the same provision.

Last week, 22-year-old Michael Andercut, with an address in Sheephill Avenue, Corduff, was charged with murder during a special sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice.
