Three new tenants set to join Castle Mall centre in Antrim

Castle Mall in Antrim is set to welcome three new stores this spring, with Lynas Food Outlet the first to open its doors as anchor tenant on Thursday March 7 following a £2 million investment.

It will launch in a 8,500 sq ft unit, where the food store will be accessible from the central car park, enhancing the exterior presence of the scheme and creating new jobs at the centre.

Castle Mall’s rejuvenation will be further bolstered in the coming weeks by the opening of a Poundstretcher store in a 10,500sq ft unit, while an as yet unnamed food and beverage company will occupy a unit at the New Look entrance to the scheme.

The centre has seen continuous development in recent years, welcoming the upsize and shop refit of Specsavers, Card Factory and Holland & Barrett since the scheme’s acquisition by Keneagles in August 2021.

Centre manager Pamela Minford said: “More people than before are visiting and spending in Castle Mall. The centre is currently going through its biggest investment and transformation with the new owners Keneagles, and we are delighted to bring even more retailer options to the community, who have remained so loyal to us over the years.

“With Lynas Food Outlet, Poundstretcher and a local food operator opening this spring, there is a real sense of excitement building, and we are looking forward to developing our regeneration strategy even further in the future.”
