Belfast city centre tourist accommodation venture Bank Square Townhouse has been acquired by the Warren Collection.

The 19 apartments next to Mourne Seafood and Kelly’s Cellars have been relaunched as Bank Square by Warren Collection.

It becomes the fifth Belfast property in the Warren Collection’s accommodation portfolio, which includes Number 11 on Malone Road and The Quarter on Donegall Street.

The Warren Collection also operate two apartment buildings in Malta and Kensington House in Newcastle, England.

The Bank Square apartments were originally launched in 2019 as ‘Dream Pods’ by Dream Apartments founder Tom Smyth.

They were later used for a period by the Housing Executive as temporary accommodation for homeless people.

The apartments were taken over in 2022 by the hotelier Adrian McLaughlin, who recently relaunched the Londonderry Arms in Carnlough as The Harbourview Hotel.

The apartments have been newly refurbished under the new operator.

“We’re excited to introduce Bank Square by Warren Collection,” said David Warren.

“Its central location and contemporary design make it a perfect fit for our brand, and we’re proud to continue supporting Belfast’s thriving tourism sector with high-quality, convenient places to stay.”

“We’re committed to investing in the city, creating welcoming spaces for visitors, and contributing positively to the local community.”
