CASH and mobile phones have been seized by police investigating suspected criminality linked to the UDA in west Belfast.

The items were recovered during the search of two west Belfast properties by members of the multi-agency Paramilitary Crime Task Force.

The phones have been taken for forensic examination, a PSNI spokesperson said.

"I’m keen to thank communities for their continued support, and would encourage anyone with information regarding criminal activity to contact us on 101," the spokesperson added.
