HOLLYWOOD star Sarah Jessica Parker has pledged her love for potatoes, turf and Donegal following a stay at her family holiday home in the county.
Ms Parker and fellow movie star husband Matthew Broderick have a family holiday home near Kilcar in south west Donegal. The star of “Sex in the City” had not been seen in Donegal for a number of years but spent the last few weeks in the county.
The Hollywood power couple and their three children James (15) and twins Marion and Tabitha, nine, were seen shopping and dinning around south west Donegal.
Their love affair with Ireland is well documented and both rave about Donegal at every chance, which dates back to Matthew's childhood as he often spent summer in Kilcar, where his family hails from.
As she left the county at the weekend the actress took to Instagram to express her love for the county.
As well as posting a picture of the Donegal coastline, she wrote: “Farewell sultry and fickle skies

Farewell ranges emitting the earthy and welcoming smell of turf

The star’s love letter to Donegal spread quickly through her contacts, attracting more than 100,000 “likes" from her thousands of followers.
