A 40-year-old man arrested in connection with paramilitary displays at the wake and funeral of Peggy O’Hara, mother of 1981 hunger striker Patsy O’Hara, has been released unconditionally.

The man was arrested in Derry on Tuesday afternoon.

Shots were fired over Mrs O'Hara's coffin as it was returned to her home in the city in July. A huge paramilitary colour party also accompanied her funeral cortege three days later.

Mrs O’Hara’s son, INLA member Patsy, was the seventh hunger striker to die in the prison protest in 1981.
