THESE are two men police want to speak to in connection with the theft of a wallet from a GAA player who was later found dead in Derry city centre.

Conall Kerrigan (25), from Claudy in Co Derry, died on Sunday August 23.

Officers do not believe he died as a result of a crime.

But they are keen to trace two men who may have information about the theft of Mr Kerrigan's wallet.

The 25-year-old had been at the Metro Bar in the city with friends from his football club on the Saturday night.

Police believe his wallet was stolen on the city walls at Bank Place at 2.34am.

He was last seen on the walls near Foyle Street at 3.03am.

No wallet was found on Mr Kerrigan's body, but one was later discovered during extensive police searches.

Officers have asked the two men, or anyone who knows them, to contact police.
