A 62-year-old woman arrested by detectives investigating the attempted murder of police officers in north Belfast has been released. The woman was detained in the north of the city yesterday morning and was later released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service. During the gun attack on December 5, 10 shots from a military-grade Kalashnikov struck two police cars towing digital signs through a residential area at the Ardoyne interface. No-one was hurt. Dissident republicans were blamed.
