STAR soprano Katherine Jenkins is to headline BBC Proms in the Park in Belfast next month. The multi-platinum-selling Welsh, pictured, singer will be the main attraction at the event on the Titanic Slipways on September 7. Derry-born musician Phil Coulter, Lithuanian accordion player Martynas and virtuoso violinist Chloe Hanslip will all perform alongside the Ulster Orchestra during the event. Ms Jenkins said she was delighted to be headlining the Belfast performance.
