A 47-YEAR-OLD man appeared before a Co Donegal court yesterday charged with the murder of Polish national Bogdan Michalkiawicz. Dariuusz Weckowicz, who is also Polish, appeared before Carndonagh District Court. Mr Michalkiawicz's body was found in his apartment in Letterkenny last month. He had sustained stab wounds. The court was told that Mr Weckowicz denied the killing. He was remanded in custody to appear before Harristown District Court in Co Roscommon on Friday.
