England World Cup hero Jordan Pickford has been filmed singing in Gareth Southgate’s honour at a concert in Nottingham.

Fans have really fallen for Three Lions boss Southgate, but Pickford showed the players love him too as he joined in with chants.

The England number one, who played in goal against Croatia England secured a Nations League Finals place, was filmed attending a Courteeners gig in Nottingham on Monday night – and it wasn’t just indie hits he sang along with.

Those with fond memories of the summer will recall Atomic Kitten’s Whole Again being modified to reflect the public mood towards Southgate as England reached a World Cup semi-final for the first time in 28 years.

According to one concert-goer, “It’s coming home,” “Only one Jordan Pickford,” and “England’s number one” were sung in the direction of the goalie.

Courteeners’ lead singer Liam Fray also apparently dedicated the song Not Nineteen Forever to Pickford, and while the crowd had a laugh with the gloved wonder focus soon turned back to the band for the most part.

Has the World Cup done more for anyone’s image than Pickford’s?
