One For Arthur and jockey Derek Fox put in an impressive performance to win the Randox Health Grand National at Aintree.
The victory gave Scotland only its second ever winner, following Rubstic in 1979.
But the internet appeared to be celebrating a different achievement at the UK’s biggest racing event – the fact that all the 40 racehorses returned safely at the end of the event, making it the fifth year in a row without fatalities.
All forty #GrandNational Runners have returned safely… Again beating any winning slips!
