EastEnders

THE Beales gather at the hospital, where Cindy is quick to blame Kathy for the fire at the cafe and then storms off when she sees Ian sharing an emotional moment with his mum.

George later convinces her to go back, and it seems all has been forgiven – until the police turn up to arrest Kathy.

As Ian deals with the news that Cindy has been taking advice from her ex, Harvey urges Rocky to come clean about his part in the fire. Rocky does head to the police station, but is he about to make a confession?

Sharon asks Keanu to propose to her again - and this time she says yes. The couple plan to celebrate with drinks in the Vic, but she isn't the party mood after receiving some shocking news at Albie's hospital appointment.

Alfie is back from Spain and also heading to the hospital to get his test results, although Phil is more concerned with what he might be planning to say to Kat, and Eve runs into Suki while out on a date.

Coronation Street

AMY should be admired for her crusade against drink-spiking, but it lands her in big trouble this week when, during a demonstration, she falls foul of the police after hitting the horrible Mason with her placard.

Steve is worried his daughter is ignoring her studies, but following her brush with the law, she claims she's learnt her lesson and that her education comes first from now on. It's a big fat lie though - Amy immediately heads into town where she puts herself in danger by tackling a man she spots putting something dodgy in a woman's drink.

Bernie is given a custodial sentence for handling stolen goods, prompting Paul to beg the judge to reconsider – he needs his mum as he battles MND.

Audrey reveals she's selling the barber's and returning to work, Dylan lands himself in hot water by selling vapes and temptation threatens to get the better of Ed.

Emmerdale

RHONA is understandably shocked when Marlon reveals that Gus has stolen her embryos, and consults Ethan to see where she stands legally.

After the lawyer reveals she would be in for a difficult battle, Rhona decides to tackle Gus herself, but when she goes to confront him, she comes face to face with pregnant Lucy, who doubles over in pain. When her waters then break, Rhona ends up driving her to the hospital.

Bob, Gabby and Jimmy are all reeling from Bernice's deception and subsequent disappearance, but Nicola suspects Cathy knows more about it than she's letting on. Nicola eventually tracks her sister down, but will she be sympathetic when she hears Bernice's explanation?

Mack tells Charity he wants them to officially get back together, which leaves him with the difficult task of dumping Chloe. Sadly, just as he's breaking the news, Chloe collapses.

Aaron goads Billy into a fight, which does not go down well with Dawn, who is dealing with her own worries following a conversation about pain relief drugs at her ante-natal class.

Hollyoaks

THE week begins with a special episode exploring solidarity in the LGBTQ+ community, as John Paul confronts Carter about his plan to practice conversion therapy on him.

Meanwhile, Nadira talks about the pain she experienced when Juliet outed her, Scott and James work on their marriage, and Sally discusses the meaning of the solidarity flag.

Elsewhere, Prince tries to cheer up Romeo by landing them a DJ gig and a brand sponsorship, little guessing that the brand in question intends to exploit the interest around Rayne's death with a tasteless hashtag.

Peri also feels like she's attracting too much attention because of the murder and points out how many people at the manor had a motive, leading to growing tensions - and some revealing flashbacks.

Tony and Diane offer to help cash-strapped Darren out by hosting Jack's birthday party at the Dog for free, but when a debt collector turns up, it becomes clear their friend's financial problems are much worse than they thought.

Home and Away

IT'S the final week of episodes before the Summer Bay soap has its annual break, so expect a few fireworks and a cliffhanger.

Justin can hardly believe it when Leah wins a luxury break. She's less enthusiastic about it, believing her place is at Marilyn's side, but the couple should be cautious for another reason - it's a scam cooked up by the Vita Nova cult. They end up locked in a warehouse which has the phrase 'the end is near' scrawled on one wall, which could be very close to the truth...

Marilyn, meanwhile, is forced to move on after Dana lands the job of Roo's carer, although it's clear she could still use her friend's help.

Zara muscles her way into Mali's life, even persuading his mother to bully him into offering her a place to stay. Tane and Felicity reach an understanding about having children, while Kirby feels lonely without her former bandmates.

Neighbours

THE week is dedicated to Melanie who, in a series of flashbacks, reveals why she walked out on Toadie - and what she has to say has serious repercussions for many of Erinsborough's other residents, not least Paul and Terese.

It turns out that Mel had known Reece and her errant sister Krista during her spell living in Britain, and that the latter had some kind of hold over her. The story also involves Eden and Holly, with the latter adding her own side to the tale.

In the present, David, Aaron and Nicolette are concerned about the impact the truth will have on them, because it seems they're caught up in the sordid goings-on too. Meanwhile, Terese is horrified to see Mel back in town, and immediately worries it could mean the end of her relationship with Toadie. He's adamant that nothing his ex has to say will change anything between them.
