Seat widens Leon range further

SEAT has continued to grow the Leon range, adding a new 2.0-litre petrol hatch and 2.0-litre diesel estate to the family car's line-up.

The petrol hatch makes 187bhp and uses an automatic gearbox, achieving up to 42mpg and CO2 emissions of 151g/km.

It has a 0-62mph time of 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 144mph.

It is priced from £28,810 in FR trim, but is also available in FR Sport, Xcellence and Xcellence Lux trims, with the top-spec model starting at £31,980.

Meanwhile, the 2.0-litre diesel estate gets a 113bhp unit and is capable of up to 65.7mpg on the combined cycle.

Its CO2 emissions are rated at 114g/km. The 0-62mph time is a relaxed 10.5 seconds.

The diesel estate is available in SE and SE Dynamic, priced from £24,515 and £25,615 respectively.
