Tobar Mhuire Retreat Centre is marking the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement with a series of conversations under the theme of 'Stories of Life, Faith and Hope'.

Rev Harold Good, a former president of the Methodist Church in Ireland and an overseer of the decommissioning of weapons with Redemptorist Fr Alec Reid, opened the series last week.

Baroness Nuala O’Loan, a former Police Ombudsman, is due to speak on May 30 while Fr Aidan Troy CP, who was parish priest at Holy Cross in Ardine during the school blockade in 2001 and is an advocate on issues around suicide, will be at Tobar Mhuire on June 6.
