MARCH is a funny old month isn’t it? One minute you’re sporting like a spring lamb and taking pictures of daffodils and crocuses for the ’gram, the next you’re wondering whether the snow is deep enough to make a tiny snowman before you leave for work.

If you’re a Kardashian things get even more complicated because at this stage of the game no-one is going to watch you build a tiny snowman unless you’re:

  • A At a luxury resort in Aspen, and
  • B Wearing a bikini, as you
  • C Have a stand-up row with a sibling

A new series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians starts on March 31 so we’re being groomed with tidbits of Kardashian news/trauma/revelations/stuff you should really keep private but, you know, see above.

Exhibit A: Exposés on the relationship between Khloe (sister number three) and her basketball playing on-again off-again beau. So far Khloe has confirmed that he cheated on her with her little sister’s best friend but has yet to comment on the claim from a source (read: someone employed by momager) that he’s not bothered about spending time with their baby daughter. Such lovely things for a little girl to read when she grows up don’t you think?

Far and away the biggest revelation ahead of series 16 comes courtesy of Kylie (sister number five) who at 21 has grown up on the TV show.

Kylie has a one-year-old daughter who she named Stormi but, subjected to fierce questioning from her makeup team, she cracked and gave up the information that she very nearly called her baby girl something else entirely.

“One name I will tell you guys, because I don't think I'm ever going to name my [future] daughter this, but I wanted to name her Rose.

"I really liked that name. Shout out to everyone named Rose."

Rose? Rose? You were thinking of naming her Rose? In a family where the cousins are Truth, North, Saint and Chicago, Mason, Penelope and Reign why did you ever think Rose would be tolerated? Kris would have klamped down on that.

“I feel like she chose her own name. Pretty much. I looked up names, and I saw Storm, and I really liked that, but I wanted her to have an 'ie' at the end of her name like me, Kylie and Stormie.

"So it was that at first, and when I was pregnant, I used to call her Stormi when I would talk to her in my belly and it just always felt right... When I had her, I felt like she chose her own name. And I just couldn't imagine any other name other than Stormi.”

Sleb Safari understands better than anyone the importance of having the 'ie' sound at the end of a name but did Kylie never think to add an 'ie' to Rose to get the very popular name Rosie? No? Oh.

Nicole Richie, daughter of Sleb Safari’s far-from-secret crush, Mr Lionel Richie, has been sharing a delightful anecdote about the source of her passion for fashion and make-up.

“I grew up in the 80s and my mom was out every night with my dad,” she tells Glamour.

“A hairstylist and a make-up artist came over every night. She was also wearing different outfits. I would sit in her empty bathtub and watch her get ready over a two-hour process. It was like going to Disneyland for me.”

How much of a disappointment must the real Disneyland have been for Nicole if this was how she got her kicks?

“She let me play with all of her make-up, all of her shoes – she wasn’t precious about her stuff. That was my first introduction to the whole world of fashion so that for sure made the biggest impact on me. But style wise, it was the 80s, she was wearing blue eye shadow – so I am not doing all of that. I found my own way through, maybe a sneaky shoulder pad every now and then, it really can’t hurt!”

Well, certainly not if you’re prone to falling over Nicole.

Plane Does U-Turn When Woman Remembers She's Forgotten Her Baby

THIS week’s head shake of sympathy goes to the poor woman who only realised she had left her baby in the airport as her plane took off.

It happened on a flight from Saudi Arabia to Malaysia and the plane had to make a U-turn to collect the infant from departures.

What a horrible thing to happen to someone.
