RUAIRI Mooney will run his spring solo exhibition and sale of work at Portrush town hall this weekend - on Friday and Saturday from 11am-8pm and Sunday from 11am-6pm.

The spring exhibition following on from the Derry dual player’s hugely popular exhibition events in 2022 and 2023. It will showcase paintings inspired by the beauty of Portstewart, Mooney’s home town, and the scenery of the north coast.

There will be a large variety of work on display, from contemporary landscape pieces to highly detailed portraits. Studies of the north oast, Giant’s Causeway and the Mourne mountains feature in this new collection, as well as portraits of iconic figures such as Seamus Heaney and John Hume.

A selection of the Eoghan Rua clubman’s limited edition prints will be on display and available for sale.

“I am delighted with this new collection of art and I can’t wait to share it publicly,” said Mooney.

“This exhibition has some of my most exciting work yet and shows my development as an artist. This process has involved a lot of months of preparation in the studio, so I’m looking forward to meeting people to share the collection and have a chat about it.”
