Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks will explore the extremes of male self-improvement for a new ITV2 documentary series.
The pair will front Sam & Pete: Dying To Look Good where they will explore modern trends and treatments in the men’s health and beauty industry.
The series will delve into the practice of looksmaxxing; an online phenomenon focused on maximising one’s physical attractiveness to women.

The duo, who became famous on Made In Chelsea and The Only Way Is Essex respectively, will also delve into the world of bodybuilding and t-maxxing (testosterone boosting).
Other measures such as cryotherapy – the use of extreme cold to reduce inflammation – and people focused on anti-ageing will also be explored.
Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment, reality and daytime for ITV, said: “Beauty and wellness regimes are becoming more extreme for men as well as women and, with their authentic brand of humour and curiosity, Sam and Pete are the perfect choices to front this fascinating close-up on the culture that is keeping men determined to stay young and flawless.”
Thompson and Wicks became friends after they both appeared on the E4 reality series Celebs Go Dating in 2019.
They host the podcast Staying Relevant together and Wicks was the first person who greeted Thompson after he won I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! In 2023.
Sam & Pete: Dying to Look Good will air on ITV2 and ITVX in 2027.
