ARMAGH specialist construction supply company SDG has announced a £1 million deal with German company BT Innovation GmbH.
The strategic partnership agreement will see SDG become the UK and Ireland distribution partner for the German outfit.
BT Innovation specialises precast concrete plant and on-site construction solutions, manufacturing products which simplify and accelerate the production and precasting process.
Set up in 1990, SDG now employs around 25 people. The Armagh firm’s head of sales, Oliver Phelan, said the new collaboration means SDG can offer a full suite of products and systems encompassing all aspects of the precast concrete process from start to finish to clients.
“The systems and expertise offered from SDG and BT Innovation is unique in the UK and Ireland marketplace, and can be tailored to the specific requirements of the client,” he said.
“It is truly innovative and designed to increase efficiency for them.”
BT Innovation’s Johannes Klose said the partnership provides an excellent opportunity for the German group to enhance its reach in the UK and Irish markets.
