FLYBE will operate over 500 flights a week from Belfast as part of its winter schedule, announced this week.

The airline, which was recently bought by Connect Airways consortium, which includes Virgin Atlantic, will offer a choice of up 508 flights a week to 12 destinations in Britain as part of the new schedule.

The Belfast schedule features the airline’s seven-a-day services from Belfast to Birmingham and Manchester, while London City will be served by six daily flights. The Scottish cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow will each be served by up to four flights per day.

Flybe is currently working with Cardiff Airport and its partners in Cardiff to finalise the content of the schedule to and from the Welsh capital, the details of which will be announced shortly.

Flybe’s chief commercial officer, Roy Kinnear said:

"Flybe’s network, makes it easier than ever for our customers to travel from George Best Belfast City Airport to 12 domestic destinations as well as offering onward seamless connections via its global codeshare partners through its hubs in Manchester and Birmingham.”

The Flybe winter schedule runs from October 27 2019 to March 28 2020.
