A RURAL investment portfolio valued at an estimated £4.7 million has been put up for sale.

The portfolio consists of seven properties, the majority of which are in Co Down and totals over five acres. All but two of the sites are let to the Henderson Retail group.

The portfolio includes filling station and convenience store sites in Killyleagh, Dromara, Drumaness, Clough and Crumlin, with

several incorporating additional retail units and residential development opportunities.

Director of letting agent, Lisney Northern Ireland, David McNellis believes the portfolio offers an "excellent opportunity" for potential investors.

“This is a really interesting portfolio to come to the market, particularly as all but two of the seven opportunities are let to Henderson Retail Ltd. with 18 remaining years on the lease," he said

“Each of these assets generate significant income every year, however, with asset management strategies, there is potential to further grow the income generated.

“Acting as the sole agent on behalf of the seller, we are expecting significant interest from local investors given the combination of commercial and residential assets."

The assets within the portfolio total over five acres and have a combined asking price of £4.7m.
