THE Sloefield Business Park in Carrickfergus is just one unit away from being fully-let, according to commercial property agent Lisney.

At 5,175 sq ft, the light industrial unit is available for immediate occupation and boasts excellent road links with the A2 and M5 motorways to Belfast as well as the M2 to the north and M1 to the south and west.

Lisney was appointed by Harry Halligan Limited to secure the tenancy of two units at the park, the first of which has now been leased and is occupied by cosmetic manufacturer Desmo Enterprises Limited.

The last unit is now ready for occupation and includes on site car parking spaces and a potential secure yard area. The unit could also be increased up to 7,762 sq ft by constructing a mezzanine level.

Sloefield Business Park’s neighbouring occupiers include global aluminium casting firm Ryobi Group, leading brand house Douglas & Grahame Ltd and ice cream giant Mauds.

The new development comprises two light industrial new-build units with potential for ancillary offices, if required, and the remaining unit is very prominent as you enter the park to include a fantastic feature glazed corner façade.

Andrew Gawley, associate director at Lisney Belfast, said: “These units are particularly attractive to tenants due to the combination of their convenient location and the pedigree of the business park’s current line-up.

“Many businesses have been attracted to Sloefield with existing tenants within the park including Pollock Lifts, Nectar Ltd and Advantage NI, who have created a real sense of dynamic growth in the area. The addition of Desmo Enterprises Limited adds further to this mix.

“The units are constructed to shell specification but internal bespoke fit-outs are available on request to cater for individual tenant requirements.”

The units were constructed by Lappin Construction Ltd, specialists in industrial development, to a higher than usual specification.
