THE organisers of the Stendhal Festival in Limavady has announced that the multi-award-winning music and arts festival will run over three nights this year.

Festival-goers will now be able to enjoy an additional evening of entertainment on Thursday August 9 to add to the line-up scheduled for Friday and Saturday August 10 and 11.

“The aim has always been to have a full three-day festival,” Stendhal director Ross Parkhill said said. “While this first year is a bit of a stepping stone with just a limited number of Thursday night tickets going on general release and entertainment restricted to just one arena, it will help us move towards a full three-day event.”

Details of the additional entertainment are currently being finalised although Ross did confirm that Foyle Film Festival would play a part in the Thursday night schedule.

Acts at Stendhal this year include; Embrace, The Wailers, And So I Watch You From Afar, Derek Ryan and many more. Tickets at stendhalfestival.com and local outlets.
