ULSTER will kick off their 2023-24 United Rugby Championship campaign in northern Italy.

With the championship season delayed due to the upcoming World Cup in France, Ulster won’t kick off their campaign until Saturday, October 21 against Zebre Parma at Stadio Lanfranchi.

The first home game of the season will take place a week later, on October 29, against Vodacom Bulls, with a Sunday slot allocated to avoid a clash with the climax of the World Cup, with the final being played that Saturday.

Ulster’s opening inter-pro of the season will be against Connacht in Galway, where the northerners will be seeking to avenge last year’s quarter-final loss, while the first home inter-pro on November 10 will see them take on reigning champions Munster.

All Ulster’s games will be broadcast live on either TG4, BBC or Viaplay, with the opening game live on Viaplay at 1pm on Saturday, October 21.
