KELLY Mallon made it nine in-a-row when she won another Ulster ladies’ senior title by defeating Siobhan Mackle and Erin Connolly on Sunday.

The format was a three corner score with the first to win three becoming Ulster Champion. Mallon secured all three wins giving her yet another Ulster title.

Last year Kelly brought her tally of All-Ireland titles to seven, matching Gretta Cormican’s all-time recordand she now has an outstanding chance of becoming the most successful woman ever in the All-Ireland final next weekend.

Meanwhile, Conor McGuigan beat Jamsie Oliver in the Mens’ Intermediate Championships and, in Men’s Junior A final, Shaun Donnelly from Eglish beat Pete Carr junior (Keady Tassagh) over the Tullysaran course.
