ERRIGAL CIARAN: Club members across the globe took part in separate 5k runs last Sunday to help raise money for two charitable organisations, Heart Children Ireland & ALPS (All Lives Are Precious) – eventually garnering £13,500.

Little Milly Byrne from Magheracloone has been supported by Heart Children Ireland over the past three months and the GAA community across Ireland has supported the drive for funds. ALPS has been spearheaded by Derry man, Frank Diamond and has supported the club roll out mental health awareness training last year.

Club Chairman Cathal McAnenly, highlighted the support from within the Errigal Ciaran community: "When we heard of wee Milly and the support Magheracloone were providing it struck a chord - the GAA community across the country rally together in times of need.

"Frank Diamond was generous with his time to the club last year and ALPS is doing great work with our young people across the country. The response to our 5k challenge was fantastic."

ST MALACHY'S GAC, CASTLEDAWSON: The response to the development fundraiser has been fantastic and reflects the great work done so far. The job will be completed later in the year with the addition of the children's playpark.
