NORTHERN Ireland international Niall McGinn returns to Irish League football with Glentoran after 15 years across the water. McGinn, who made his name with Dungannon Swifts, fell out of favour at Dundee this season and has decided to return him to help revive the struggling Glens.
"I just want to get playing and enjoy my football as the last five, six months have been frustrating," said the former Celtic winger.
"I want to get up to match fitness as quickly as possible and hopefully I can bring my qualities to Glentoran."
McGinn (35) has been capped 72 times and had spells with Derry City, Aberdeen and Brentford.
"Moving to Glentoran fits the bill for what I want to do now initially in terms of playing and later in my career."
