I AM totally disgusted that Sinn Féin MLA Megan Fearon can issue press statements about females not coming forward in public life. How can any woman come forward in confidence with the rape and cover-up by a strand of her organisation of Maíria Cahill and have confidence to participate in public life? The same organisation who were the first to run down my Catholic Church, pot and kettle comes to mind.
Being a self-confessed apologist and spin doctor for the Shinners in a former life and working their centres as an ill-equipped advice worker I know all to well about certain issues.
Megan Fearon should do her homework and reflect upon her call for women coming forward into public life when some of us have failed.
