CONGRATULATIONS to Tom Kelly for his excellent article (August 11). He is one of the few journalists to produce an unbiased, impartial and erudite work on the current Israel/Gaza conflict and expose the blatant double standards of those who single out one people and country for demonisation while remaining silent on the current horrific persecution of other minorities throughout the world, in particular the Christians of Syria, Iraq and the Levant.
